How Can I take care of my feet on a daily basis?

Being proactive is always the best way to take care of your feet. Dr. Weinert recommends the following:

  • If you are having pain, visit our office right away. Most conditions only intensify as time passes.
  • Inspect your feet on a regular basis. This is especially true if you have diabetes. Purchase a little mirror at a dollar store to inspect the bottom of your foot.  You should inspect your feet once a week and look for sores, blisters or anything unusual.
  • If you have pain in your feet – get treatment immediately.

By being proactive you can really avoid anything from getting too advanced or to a point where you will need surgical intervention.
